
Plus que quelques jours avant que GIRL, prometeuse formation indie rock locale, ne sorte ses plus beaux habits pour donner leur plus grande prestation ce jour. C'est à l'espace DELL ARTE que le quatuor originaire de Mont-Saint-Bruno présentera ses nouvelles chansons dans une soirée, on le chuchote un peu partout, complètement folle.
On se souviens que, il y a quelques mois à peine, le groupe avait lancé un premier album éponyme fort rafraichissant et entamait une série de spectacle partout dans la métropole. Mercredi, GIRL continuera dans leur récente foulée, proposant une mise en scène ambitieuse et une grande dose de nouvelles compositions. Comptez sur eux pour tout donner puisque la soirée sera filmée pour un DVD live.

Both bands have been around for ages, broke up at some point(s) and got back together with new members. Happy Mondays released a new album in 2007, but we're still waiting for some new songs from The Furs. Perhaps you'll have the chance of hearing new material at the concert if you win this contest!

In case you haven't heard of Grand Archives, they are the new indie-rock band of Mat Brooke, former guitarist for Band of Horses. They will be playing Green Room on October 14 to perform new songs from their second album released last month on Sub Pop Records. As for Zeus, they are a 4-piece from Toronto and have been signed by Arts & Crafts. Also, one of their songs has been featured on one or CBC's Radio 3 Sessions CD.
