Peggy who? Peggy Sue is a trio from Brighton, UK. "Fossils and Other Phantoms" is the title of their first full-length, released a few weeks ago. Both girls share the microphone with their enchanting voices, and everyone in the band plays different instruments (acoustic guitar, banjo, and lots of interesting percussion). They sound like if Kate Nash would be singing with Mumford & Sons, two artists Peggy Sue actually toured with. Currently in America, the band is playing a show at Divan Orange this Saturday.

Peggy Sue have always found creative ways of putting their music out there: a few years ago, they released via their MySpace a series of CDs with 4 different songs each month. Now that they're on the road, the band got the idea of doing a video of one song in each city on the tour. They will be filimg one in Montreal for sure - can't wait to see the final result!
If you had to pick a location for a band to shoot their music video in this city, what would it be?

Post your comment by Friday June 11th at 3 pm! Two winners will be picked, one will get a pair of tickets to the show and the other a copy of their latest album. Good luck!

It's a large location... But I think it would be a great video to shoot a long walk up from Duluth to the Jaques Cartier statue and then up to the top of the mount. It's beautiful, and is climactic!

Since it’s most probably raining, it’d be wiser to shoot indoors. Maybe ask permission from old school shop in Old Montreal and capture the cobblestone and French signs.

Or inside Joe Beef?

In St-Henri/Côte St-Luc area (mini St-Remi tunnel)... Near the McAuslan brewery and the Lachine Canal. Plenty of old shops and cool spots. Perfect mix of nature and vintage look. You might also have some railroads nearby and the city in the background!

They should film it while surfing on the St. Lawrence rapids, behind the Habitat '67 structures. Would fit with their vibe!
