Happy Endings Rule

Posted by Nika / August 2, 2006

A visiting Massachusetts family had their mega-RV stolen from a Laval parking lot last Tuesday. The thieves basically left with everything the family owned, including their beloved terrier Keltie. The RV was found the next day, devoid of ‘lil white dog.

Worst. family vacation. ever.

A few minutes after hearing Mom beg for the return of ‘Lil Keltie on the radio this morning, one fine gent driving into work actually spotted a small white dog running through traffic on Highway 40. “I just knew it was Keltie”, he proudly stated. After a foot chase worthy of a Marx Brothers movie, Keltie was captured and brought into the Laval SPCA.

The SPCA says the dog was lucky it didn't get hit by a car. I say Keltie’s lucky to be alive, period.

The Mass. family was reunited with Keltie earlier today, a reunion worthy of flattened dog ears, frantic face-licking and mini tail wagging. Needless to say, I was a touch verklempt.

Feeling better? Here are more happy endings here, and here… aaaaaaaaand loads here.
