Indoors activities:

For all the brainiacs out there, here are two suggestions that might interest you.

The first one is Galileo's Sky, the new show at Montreal's Planetarium. 2009 is the International Year of Astronomy and marks the 400th anniversary of the first time that Italian astronomer Galileo Galilei pointed his telescope toward the starry sky. Come find out what Galileo observed through his telescope!

The second one is a variety of exhibitions at the Centre des Sciences de Montréal. Imagine! takes you beyond the border separating the known and the unknown into the world of tomorrow. Also, meet the challenge of Mission Gaia: to extend the survival of humankind. Science 26 allows you to observe, handle, and discover how things work. Featuring plenty of fun and fascinating demonstrations.
Free
6 p.m. - 2 a.m.
Quays of the Old-Port
Metro Champ-de-Mars, Place-d'Armes, Square-Victoria

At City Hall, Québec traditional dance is always in style and accessible to all. This year's event at city hall features fiddles and foot-tapping jigs. Come and dance, and bring your spoons to accompany the musicians. Enjoy a memorable night.
Free
7 p.m. - 3 a.m.
Montreal City Hall, 275, Notre-Dame Sreet East
