'A Refugee Camp in the Heart of the City' tour will pass through Montreal this week. This outdoor educational exhibit is being hosted by Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF), following the success of the 2008 tour across western Canada and the U.S.

The event will take place at Parc Jeanne-Mance (Av. du Parc & Av. du Mont Royal Ouest) May 20th to May 23rd. The exhibit opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 5:30 p.m. daily. The tour lasts about 40 minutes to an hour. Reservations are recommended for groups of 15 or more.

According to MSF's official web page, the tour has already visited Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Santa Monica and San Diego.

Thousands of participants visited the stations to learn about the plight of 42 million people uprooted by war around the world.

In addition to coming out to see the tour, there are many ways to support MSF's work with refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs). For example: you may donate, plan a fundraiser or raise awareness.

Come out and support a great cause. See you at the tents!
