These are busy times for Montreal’s Breakbeat pioneers Planete Break Records. Fresh from blitzing the hugely respected Beatport charts with 2 singles in the highly regarded Beatport top 100, Planete Break are moving into regular event promotion at one of Montreal’s best kept secrets, Pub Brouhaha, with Planete Break Presents... Creating a euphoric club vibe in the backroom bar, yet enjoying a great pub atmosphere and fine selection of micro-brewery beers, Planete Break Presents… is a step towards reinvigorating the Montreal clubbing scene with something a little different and more discerning. It’s a happening club night, intimate party and an electronic music connoisseurs’ Saturday night out, all in one.
For the big launch, Planete Break are delighted to present the return to these shores of one of Montreal’s hottest homegrown DJ / Producer teams, Botnek. Fresh from a European tour and radio play across the globe, the soon-to-be-huge duo’s fans include; Annie Mac, Bob Sinclair, Sinden and Buraka Som Systema, to name but a few. Joining Botnek on the bill are DJ Dialect, Planete Break co-founders Patrick Spacekadet, Pinky38, more Montreal musical mischief-makers and live VJs.
