Jean Caffeine, James Irwin

Folk n' rolla Jean Caffeine calls Austin,TX home but she's lived in SF, Toronto, NYC and Bangkok and more. She has a storied rocknroll past. In her early days she played drums in Pulsallama, an all female tribal percussion ensemble that opened shows for the Clash. Her new cd, recorded in Austin, SF, and Hamilton, ON has lots of Canadian connections. Many songs were written and recorded in Hamilton, ON with Canadian musicians. Jean's combo the Plus Ones also hails from Hamilton.

Also on the bill is afro pop infused singer songwriter, James Irwin.
