PIKNIC ELECTRONIK @ LACHINE CANAL
On Saturday, August 11, beginning at 1 p.m., the public is invited to the third edition of the musical event Piknic Electronik @ Lachine Canal, a free major family gathering hosted by Parks Canada. A checkered tablecloth will be rolled out along the shores of the Canal and music will be provided by the Piknic Electronik team.
New this year, those who arrive without provisions will be able to treat themselves to fare from the Grumman ’78 and Pas d’cochon dans mon salon canteens, and can stop by the Piknic bar to buy summer refreshments.
Great guests will be performing at this outdoor event, starting with a pillar of the Montreal scene, and continuing with a Londoner just after teatime!

The Piknic Electronik @ Lachine Canal concludes at 8 p.m., but the party continues until midnight at the St. Ambroise Terrace with dynamic Sud-West comrades Poirier and Ghostbeard. A boat will provide a shuttle service from the Piknic site to the Terrace starting at 7:30 p.m. for the modest price of $5, including a surprise at the “Sud-West” evening!
• Location: Lachine Canal National Historic Site, south of the Atwater Market, between the Atwater pedestrian overpass and the Charlevoix Bridge (Charlevoix metro station)
• Sud-West evening: From 8 p.m. until midnight at the St. Ambroise Terrace, located at 5080 St-Ambroise
