family=2E From day one Rusko was surrounded by music whether =
it be his families piano=E2=80=99s=2C guitars=2C =
banjo=E2=80=99s and saxophones=E2=80=A6or in his later years =
the heavy reggae and dub sound systems of Leeds=2C music has =
always been an integral part of Rusko=E2=80=99s =
life=2E=0A=0AAfter graduating from Leeds university with a =
degree in musical performance=2C Rusko discovered the world =
of dubstep through SUB DUB and a debut appearance from the =
=E2=80=9CDigital Mystikz=E2=80=9D=2C having spent the past =
10 years making future dub alongside Leeds very own Iration =
Steppas=2C Rusko connected with the sound and moved down to =
London to further advance his musical =
opportunities=2E=0A=0AVeering away from the dark=2C serious =
side of the sound Rusko bought a highly driven energy and =
fun approach to the dubstep massive=2C quickly coining his =
own take on the genre that infected =2E His sound appealed =
to many people outside of the dubstep world as his =
productions became more adventurous in formula=2C sound and =
energy=2E His huge hit =E2=80=9CCockney Thug=E2=80=9D has =
been played by everyone from Pete Tong=2C Switch=2C Diplo =
and Santogold=2E And has been remixed by Buraka Som =
sistema=2C Diplo=2C Drop the Lime and the Scratch =
Perverts=2E Now part of the Mad Decent Camp with =
collaborations on the horizon with the likes of Switch=2C =
Diplo =2C Santigold=2C Trouble Andrew=2C Hot Chip and =
more=E2=80=A6the future sure is looking bright=2E Currently =
setting the radio airwaves alight with his own productions =
and remixes of artists such as The Prodigy=2C Basement =
Jaxx=2C Little Boots and plenty more=2C Rusko is only going =
in one direction=2E Onwards=2C upwards and far beyond any =
other young producer could dream =

Radio One=2C squeezing in 35 tracks in five minutes as well =
as remix work for artists such as Top Cat on Special =
Dedication=2C Ms Dynamite=2C and grime stalwart Skepta on =
Rescue Me =28400=2C000 plays and counting=29=2E In amongst =
all the music and DJ gigs the guys found time to start their =
own label=2C Life Recordings=2C with debut release El =
Presidente VIP=2F Something Special going on to be =
