Two and a Half Coreys, a.k.a. Just Shoot Me

Posted by Asmaa / June 30, 2006

coreys.jpg I am leaving for vacation in less than 12 hours. I have not finished my work. I have not purchased mini shampoo bottles. And I have not cleaned out the car. But because I care about you, dear reader, I am taking the time to tell you about a frightening new development.

Fellow has-beens-before-their-time Corey Feldman and Corey Haim have joined forces to create a sitcom based on the flimsiest conceit I have ever heard: their first names.

According to Variety, "The Coreys picks up with Feldman living the comfortable suburban life with his wife Suzie and son, until circumstances bring his old pal Haim back into the picture. Episodes would follow Haim – single and the total opposite of Feldman – as he shakes life up for the Feldmans. RDF USA exec VP of current/ development Greg Goldman said because Feldman and Haim have been friends on and off screen for several years, the chemistry between the two 'just pops off the screen.' "

I wonder who's going to sing the theme song. (You got it made with the guy in shades ... ) Oh no.

the thing that bothers me about this, is we're somehow supposed to believe haim is the badass. grr.

The only storyline I can ever believe is Haim trying to get the girl and Feldman being the badass friend. All the while, both of them acting terribly.

Woah, woah, woah. What the hell do you mean by "supposed to believe" he's a badass?? There's trouble behind those twinkling, baby blues. Terrible acting? Am I "supposed to believe" y'all didn't have subscriptions to Tutti Frutti and Bop? Suck it.
