"She loves kids..."

I had to refrain from using the words HOT, ECSTATIC, RYAN GOSLING and MELANIE in the heading of this, but you get the point. I was stumbling online and came across Lars and the Real Girl. Suddenly my bad day was gone and the sky was that wonderful colour only Ryan Gosling movies can paint it.

In all seriousness, (and I’m really not exaggerating at all,) this movie looks amazing. Not just in that ‘feel good movie of the year’ way but the plot actually seems very quirky and interesting. Not to be biased, ( of course I completely am) I challenge any of you readers to find a Ryan Gosling movie that wasn’t good. Maybe challenge isn’t the right word…I DARE you. Be prepared, Ryan Gosling turns me into a silly girl at a Hanson concert. You could bring back footage from 'Breaker High' or 'Are you Afraid of the Dark' and I will argue that it is brilliant.

Opens November 2nd (And not to be freak anyone out, but that is the EXACT date of my old dog’s birthday. The world makes sense again...)

Note: In case I forgot to mention, and it looks like I did, the plot tells the story of a man who goes a little crazy when he falls in love with a skanky doll and how the community that loves him aimed to accept her as their own. Click here for the trailer.

Thanks for the Breaker High reference... I often wonder how many of Ryan Gosling's fans know about that show. One of the most underrated "so bad it's good" teen shows ever. When I was in university I would watch it every single night as I ate my supper. How come the guy who played Ryan Gosling's fat funny sidekick never got a career? I loved him.

Jimmy! He basically carried that show. He's done a lot of seriously random spots here and there and been on some shows that got pulled right away. I think he's actually on something that starts this fall but I don't really remember what. The point is, Breaker High is the best thing that ever happened to YTV. Besides Ready or Not.
