La Bohème

In the spirit of the old idiom, 'Those who can't do, teach', Cinema du Parc will be offering special screenings of Puccini’s La Bohème, ( 'Those who can't attend the opera, attend the cinema'). It sounds silly but I have really come to identify with that easily malleable phrase; 'Those who can't make movies, critique', or 'Those who can't relate to others, blog'. Most realistically, 'Those who can't face reality, appropriate sentences as their hobby'.

In any case, Cinema du Parc will be screening the original Italian version of La Bohème for 2 days only (January 12th and 13th). Set in France and directed by Jesùs (Lòpez Cobos) this is obviously an opportunity not to be missed. Particularly for people who vowed to be more classy in 2008 (you know who you are).
