MP Weekly Dep Wine Review 2

Posted by Jeff / April 20, 2008

It's been quite a hectic last weeks; The Spring kick off has set me off course on my daily activities, which sadly included the stop at my local Dep, to fill a brown paper bag with the sweet juice from our earthly vines. Coinciding with that it also hit on the new weekly I started to share with you all. Thanks for your patience on me getting the second one up. With that, let's get started.

This week I opted for a flashy label, as warm thoughts of spring in the air. The brand name Flying Fins reserve from sunny California. I must say for the 8.95 price, it's a great pick!. Self hailed to have all the good things of San Franciso, with an appropriate fruity after taste in a bottle.
20080420_flyingfins_depwine2.jpgThe idea of wearing flowers in my hair seemed more appropriate as I sat and sipped the reserve on my terrace, with of course some Sunday blues in the back round. The second was of the Australian blend. With it's flashy yellow label, and jumping kangaroo it called out to me, as I had BBQ on the mind. It tasted really well with homemade burgers cooked on the grill. A great wine to mix with meats, yet a bit dry for a single sipper. The $11.99 was acceptable for this summer fling, and springs first grill up.

Until next time, enjoy and drink more wine!

I truly love dep wines. I have my favs, but Yellow Tail is not one of them.

Flying Fins, on the other hand, I have not tried, and will enjoy giving it a try.
I enjoyed reading your work! GREAT post! I looked around for this... but I found you! :) Anyway, would you mind if I threw up a backlink from my site to your site?

I'm trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords
but I'm not seeing very good results. If you know of any please share.
