Buck rogering

Posted by John / March 6, 2006

I write a column for that I usually keep a secret, but this week's, loosely about the Canadian dollar's rise in value, is kind of funny.

I've never really understood the fuss about fluctuations in currency values. Of course, I've never done much to find out more about it, either. But still, it seems like most people merely assume that a higher dollar is automatically a good thing, and media -- TV news, especially -- gloss over these trends with a vaguely nationalistic sound byte or two. A quick read of business sections suggests that it's hardly that simple, and that the currency market is pretty fucking complex, as the economists say.

Anyway, the column is much less boring than the previous paragraph.

It's awesome to go to see this website and reading the views of all friends regarding
this post, while I am also keen of getting know-how.
