Melbourne’s Cut Copy released their second electropop album "In Ghost Colors" earlier this year. Produced by Tim Goldsworthy from DFA Records, the album was quite a success - even Virgin Mobile used its first track, “Feel The Love”, in a recent Canadian TV ad.
Cut Copy’s sound is an elegant electro touch à la Hot Chip paired with an 80s New Order-like soul. The band also carries a wide range of influences such as The Beach Boys, Daft Punk, Sonic Youth and Beck.
Headlining with them will be The Presets, another Australian electronic act. Both artists share the same label, Modular Records – also responsible for rock band Wolfmother, electro one-man band Muscles, and Australia's local distribution of other highly enjoyable music (such as our very own Chromeo).

Cut Copy and The Presets, Saturday September 20 at Club Soda, 9 PM.

Listened to all of the Masocasts in the last few days and they all rocked! Well pdeurcod, good questions, honest answers, everything just seems to work. There is also just enough flirting and banter that makes the interviews personal as well as informative. Really great stuff. Keep up the good work.
