Colour explosion at La Tulipe - A photo essay

Posted by Margot / March 13, 2010

Photographe extraordinaire Shannon Heather was at it again the other night at La Tulipe, capturing candid moments of the good folks from Morning Teleportation, As Tall As Lions, and Cage the Elephant. The photo essay that follows is surely but a hint of the auditory rainbow that came from onstage.

Small crowd? Sparse enough that you could get a drink and regain your place without getting dirty looks, but crowded enough that everyone was thinking: "This could get rowdy."

With a name like Morning Teleportation, the 60s psychedelic rock revival aesthetic fits right in.

As Tall As Lions: beautiful heartfelt melodies combined with energetic raw passion

These elephants need not be caged

Mic in hand, Matthew Shultz sizes up the crowd before diving in headfirst without warning.

Unquestionably believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason seemed to be
on the internet the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to
you, I definitely get annoyed while people think
about worries that they plainly don't know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal.
Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
