Have you heard of local Montreal band Coral Red? If so, I've got some good news and some bad news. Bad news is, they don't exist anymore. Good news is, they are now known as Belgrave, and will be playing this Thursday August 26th @ Bar St. Laurent with The Thanya, Emilie & Ali Band and Little City, who are playing their first Montreal show.

I recently had a chance to sit down with Belgrave via the internet and ask them some very in-depth questions about life and music:

Who is your favorite Canadian Artist?
A: Sam Roberts

Besides family, friends, other music, and long summer nights, what influences
your music the most?

A: Escapism

Where is the best place to listen to your music?
A: On a mountain top

What do you love most about Montreal?
A: You have a great mountain for listening to music

What do you love most about Poutine?
A: The consistency of the cheese

What do you hate most about Poutine?
A: It's all over so quickly

Who was your first live concert? Was it everything you had ever imagined?

A: Our Lady Peace, it was a great show, left me excited to see many more

If your music was a famous historical figure, who would it be and why?

A: Jesus. Might sound ambitious but we're just trying to spread the love

What's the best way to spend a Million dollars in 10 minutes?
A: Lifetime supply of gravy, French fries and cheese curds

What's the best place you've ever been to?
A: The Outer Banks of North Carolina provides some great seaside living

What's the worst place you've ever been to?
A: This one particular out house in northern Quebec...

How did you spend your 16th birthday?
A: With my loving family and friends
