Photo Essay: Igloofest Weekend 2
Igloofest broke more records again this past weekend. Apparently, Saturday night's line up of DJs and musicians brought over 10,000 people down to the old port. That stat becomes a little crazier when you remember it was -20C out. New to this year's edition of the fest is a slippery tug-of-war that tends to draw people to either end of the rope to lend a hand.
There should probably be a prize for best dance beast.
France's Terence Fixmer was popular both with the crowd and backstage.
Spot-the-Santa is easy so how about spot-the-helmet? I always make fun of people who wear helmets without seeming reason but the amount of snow boots flying through the air render this guy logical.
The dance igloo, with its concentrated space, becomes a bumpin' place as the night wears on.
an extra special thanks to Shannon Heather for partying on our behalf.
