It was a homecoming for Cadence Weapon last Monday night at Sala Rossa. He opened for New York noise rockers Liars on the last leg of their Canadian tour for the trio's latest album WIXIW. Cadence was showing off some new dance moves and a fresh look for his return to Montreal. Highlights of his set were old track "Real Estate" and capping of his set with an interactive rendition of "Loft Party" (off his Polaris prize nominated album "Hope in Dirt City"). Liars played to a packed room and to sum up a show in one word: loud. It was drums, electro beats and great energy on the stage. Here are highlights from the show:
