If you're looking to get into some more summer music festival action, Passovah Productions will be launching the 1st Passovah Summer Fest this Friday and Saturday August 17-18th over at Il Motore.

It has been a busy year for Passovah and for promoter (and founder) Noah Bick. Since launching Passovah back in 2008 with co-founder Lukas Glickman (who left the company early in its inception), Passovah has put on over 100 shows focusing on Montreal acts. Last winter, they celebrated their 4th anniversary in Montreal's music scene and now have taken the next venture into the summer festival scene. As well as promoting Passovah, Bick is a regular fixture at Blue Skies Turned Black and at Pop Montreal.

The Summer Fest will consist of 24 local artists playing 15 minute sets, with bands like CTZNSHP and Valleys playing on Friday night. Saturday night will have the likes of Technical Kidman and recent Polaris long lister Parlvor. The end of each night will be DJed by Noah Bick himself. In addition to all the great bands playing, there will be free empanadas from Bistro Araucaria (while quantities last).
