Possible entries include: volume:dark, bass:plight, woo:hoo, hell:yeah. Get it? Get to it.
Entries will be accepted until 3pm tomorrow, Thursday, September 26th, at which point we will write all entries on pieces of paper and pull two from a hat. Yes, we are actually using a real hat for this. Please leave a comment with your real name and e-mail address so we can contact you if you win. E-mail addresses will not be displayed or shared and we won't use them to spam you in the future.
Murray Lightburn has been a fixture of Montreal's music scene since the early 90s, rising to fame with indie rock royalty The Dears. Mass:Light is his first solo album and represents a departure in recording and writing techniques from anything he previously knew. It features dark 80s soul and funk anthems played on synthesizers and drum machines. Hear a preview of the show at the top of our second of five Pop Montreal podcasts and take a listen to album track "Motherf***ers" below.
