Fresh brewed news for Tuesday, September 30 2008:

Alright, let's get the bad news out of the way: not only did the $700 billion bailout not stick, but the TSX (Toronto Stock Exchange) took a plunge not seen since 2000, losing a dramatic 841 points.

According to a Léger Marketing poll, Montreal is holding ground against a Tory invasion, while Duceppe's Bloc is enjoying a seven-point lead on Harper's Conservatives. Anyone else not sure it's such a good thing?

Our dearest Habs are now 18 players lighter, due to some serious budget cuts. Hopefuls Ben Maxwell, Max Pacioretty, Matt D'Agostini and Gregory Stewart will stay in the team, as well as veteran goalie Marc Denis. Of the 18 former players, 16 have been sent off to the Hamilton Bulldogs, while the other two are going back to their junior league. Ouch.

Montreal clinic L'Actuel now offers a free HIV test. The clinic hopes to halt infection to gay men and drug addicts. The test allows a first diagnostic within 30 minutes and is not financed by the Quebec Medicare.

Hi there would you mind letting me know which hosting company you're utilizing?
I've loaded your blog in 3 completely different internet browsers and I must say this blog loads
a lot faster then most. Can you suggest a good web hosting provider at a
honest price? Kudos, I appreciate it!
