The American businessman George Gillett is considering selling off his Montreal Canadiens and their arena, the Bell Center. Let's remember that Gillett owns 80.1% of the NHL team. He has been booking the services of financial firms to look into options to optimize the value of his assets, and other options include financial restructuring, bringing in new investors, and selling.

Did you know there were special guests at yesterday's St. Patty's parade? Yes, three CF-18 fighter jets were part of the festivities. Didja hear them?

The Montreal Casino is going to get a $305 million facelift. Loto-Québec plans on spending all that money over the next four years to modernize and refurbish the casino, which was built to be the French and Quebec pavilions during Expo 67.

The City of Montreal has finally decided that the default speed limit will be 40 km/h, except in main arteries and school zones.
