You left your bike out all winter. The chain dissolved, a snow plow chewed up the wheels and somebody stole the saddle. What to do? A Gazette blog named "ON TWO WHEELS" does a great job in providing info regarding getting started on bicycles and info on cycling in Montreal.

The Plateau-Mont-Royal borough released a new traffic plan that is designed to cut down traffic in the borough and create a better environment for all who visit the area. Some of the improvements include building a tramway on Parc ave and creating more pedestrian-only streets and public spaces.

Singer Rufus Wainwright has written and scored an opera, that will be performed entirely in French. Wainwright who grew up in Montreal, is the son of Canadian chanteuse Kate McGarrigle and folk singer Loudon Wainwright III. No dates have been published for a Montreal stop; it will premiere at the Luminato festival next year in Toronto.
