The ATM is expecting that at least 400,000 less people will be taking the train this year, despite planning an additional 76 departures per day and a $13.5 million service upgrade plan.

Two stranded window-washers were rescued by firefighters yesterday, in a daring operation that made headlines everywhere. The two men were stuck right near the 21st floor of the SCN-Lavalin building, corner of René-Lévesque and Bleury st., after their swing stage fell several stories down.

Yesterday was the final debate before municipal elections, and surprisingly enough, ethics were at the center of talks. This is what I would call perfect timing, since Benoit Labonté's shocking resignation was certainly yesterday's leading news item. For whoever hasn't been paying attention, here's the irony: Harel has been criticizing Gérald Tremblay's lack of judgement and ethics, but as it turns out, her right-hand man also had a whiff of the money.
