Today marks the start of BIXI season, so put those chicken legs to use and bike to your little heart's content, Montrealers! Starting at 7 am today, BIXI bikes will be deployed, ready to take over the streets and drive motorists crazy for the summer.

Concordia University will be dishing out seven honorary doctorates in June. The doctorates will be handed to Québec 60's rock star Robert Charlebois, former PM Jean Chrétien and Julie Payette, chief astronaut of the Canada Space Agency, among other notable Canadians.

If you're one of many planning a European vacation in the next few weeks, fear not: a few airports have been conducting test flights, and some have even resumed flights. In Montreal, it's still a bit of a mess at Trudeau airport, but Paris-Montreal flights have been resumed for now. If you're not on your way towards a giant ash cloud, don't be sad - the cloud looks like it's headed our way, it should be popping in to say hello sooner or later.
