On Company Time #2: Bathroom Etiquette

Posted by Dave / January 18, 2006

Toilet.jpgWelcome to On Company Time, MP's weekly guide to frivilous things you can do on the Information Superhighway when you're supposed to be working. Just when you think you've reached the end of the Internet, when you think that maybe it's actually time to get back to work, we're there to steer you straight.

Going to the bathroom is something that everyone does on a (for most) daily basis. So why do some find it so hard to follow proper bathroom etiquette? Does it really seem acceptable to just pee all over the toilet seat? If the first flush doesn't do the job, is it really that much work to flush it again?

Well, if you are also working with these types of people, you can now waste some company time educating them in Bathroom Etiquette.

Really, it's not a lot to ask. Perhaps companies should spend less money on customer service trainings and more time teaching people how to go to the freaking bathroom. Now that's a training that I can use for the rest of my life!

We have limited TV time here. None at all on waekdey mornings and very rarely after school either! Mostly just on weekends and I really prefer it to be restricted by being 1 DVD, or until dinner is ready' for example, then there is a clear ending rather than right, time to turn it off and they freak out and can't think of anything else they could possibly do without it!
