Ladies and gentlemen, it's finally happened. Spring is upon us, it's warm and sunny, and green things are coming out of the tree branches. In this week's podcast, we discuss very important things, like cuts to the CBC/Radio-Canada's budget and the effects on all sides of programming, and more lighthearted things, like Swedish pop. This is a week full of new beginnings: two incredible artists, Reversing Falls and Ingrid Gatin, are holding their record launches in the coming days, and we have tracks from the yet-to-be-released albums ready to share with you all. We're also getting visits from Akron/Family and Clinic and a ton of other top notch acts. Don't hold back this weekend - it's not as if you live in Montreal to not see shows all the time.

It's upon us again, this in-between season of will-it-won't-it finally get warm, where everything around you is either brown or gray. It's a bit of a slow week, but we've still got some swanky tunes to help you get your Spring on. Or at least try to, anyway.

This week's podcast is a super special one because we have indie (prog?) folk artist Corinna Rose in the studio to talk about her new album, Northeast Southwest, and play some tunes live. Her official album release is next Thursday, April 11, at Club Lambi, but Midnight Poutine will streaming the whole thing starting tomorrow.
