Tonight (Thursday), lovely locals The Lovely Feathers play with indie music blog darlings  Jetplanes of Abraham at Cabaret (9pm, $8)

Also, be sure to check out the Ensemble album party at Lambi, featuring the pitchfork-approved Tim Hecker and other guests.

There's also a benefit concert for Dawson College at Metropolis (7pm, $15/$20) featuring inconcertagainstviolence.com, cuz if you're not against violence, then you're for it.

On Friday, you might be tempted by their name alone to see Ottawa's Fucked Corpse at Casa Del Popolo but if you want something less gruesome check out the crazy guitar action that's gonna go down at Sala Rossa.
Jack Rose, Peter Walker, Harris Newman will each wow you with their own brand of fingerpicking genius.

There's also Dmonstrations and the classic rock inflected Crystal Clyffs at Zoobizarre (9pm, $8)

On Saturday, don't miss Brooklyn's noise improv crew Excepter, New York's off-center Rusty Santos, and local noise makers Dreamcatcher at Casa del Popolo.

Rancid are back with Big D & The Kids Table at Metropolis (8pm, $23/$25), but we reviewed their last show, so you could just read this instead.

Sunday brings some a few down tempo rock bands from the east coast who are probably missing home and desiring your company. Newfoundland's Hey Rosetta!, team up with Nova Scotia's Down with the Butterfly at Le Divan Orange (9pm)

Over at Club Lambi, it's all ska all the time. And by all the time we mean for a few hours on Sunday night, when The Toasters, Trip the Off, PL Mafia take the stage (8pm, $10/$12)

On Tuesday, Liederwölfe bring opera to the people, while Shanghai Triad bring Shanghai to those very same people at le Divan Orange ($4).

If you're thriving to get your punk on, feel free to do so at Le National, where Raised Fist, Closedown, Hold a Grudge, Tears from the Sky, and Bridge Too Far get punk in drublic.
