Tonight (Wednesday), Battles and guests play Sala Rossa, or Aussies Youth Group hit Main Hall with Aqueduct and Acrobat.

On Thursday, come to Divan Orange for the best-named MC ever, MC la Sauce and stay for rappers Jingafly and Maybe Watson. Over at Sala Rossa, Adult, Erase Errata and Parts & Labor rock things, but then again, so do Aerogramme, A Northern Chorus and Twilight Sad at Main Hall. So much choice.

On Friday, the much-talked-about (hullaballooed?) Lily Allen plays Club Soda with The bird and the bee and Aaron Lacrate, while Ghetto Pony play Barfly for free (which is $25 less than Lily Allen, note).

On Saturday, Junior Boys are at Sala Rossa with Russian Futurists.

This Monday at Sala Rossa will be decidedly weekend-esque (i.e., crazy) with Blue Cheer, An Albatross and locals Mongrels.

If punk is dead, what's the deal with Smoke or Fire, Tim Barry and Fifth Hour Hero at Club Lambi on Tuesday? Also, Medicine Fuck Dream (Greg Ashley of Gris Gris) is at Sala Rossa and Code Pie plays Divan Orange with Flotilla and Pamplemousse Explosion.

nicely niced dudes. this is pro'lly the most diverse poutcast i've heard you do...franco gangsta rap, freaky noise stuff, psyche, electropop, cutesy stuff. very cool, and pretty representative of the upcoming shows.
good work.

Question to Scott and anyone else who listens. Is the diversity good because it tries to capture a little bit of everything? Or distracting because it seems less focused on any one particular style?

You are so awesome! I do not believe I have read something like that before.
So wonderful to discover someone with a few genuine thoughts on this subject.
Really.. thank you for starting this up. This site is something that is
required on the web, someone with a bit of originality!
