20070509_fieldreg.jpgForty has come and gone, but the celebratory potato chips are still with us on episode 41. In the form of fat. Get it? Because chips are .... oh. Uh, the podcast, hosted by Jeremy Morris, with me, is considerably less inane and considerably more song-filled than this introductory paragraph.

Tonight, (Wednesday), if you can't get into LCD Soundsystem's show at the Spectrum, or if you're more into soundtrack-esque soundscapes anyway, go seeBlink Blinkblink presents: 'Primary Colors' at Main Hall.

On Thursday, The Toasters bring their 25th Anniversary Tour (+CD Launch) to Petit Campus with The Briggs and One Night Band. Also, Kimika and Esker Mika are at Casa Del Popolo.

This Friday, there's some singer-songwriter action at Lambi with Henri Faberge and the Adorables, Great Aunt Ida and Ancient Rhymes, while Main Hall has a stellar, slightly eclectic lineup in the form of Young Galaxy, Pony Up and Luke Doucet. At Le Cagibi (formerly Esperanza), The Thinks play, along with Jordi Rosen, whiule Casa del Popolo offers up The Field Register, Triceratreetops and Freelove Fenner and Sala Rossa has Call Me Poupée and Les Annes Geddes.

Saturday may be even more overloaded with choice than Friday. "Overloaded with choice?" What does that even mean? Anyway, The Creeping Nobodies play Zoobizarre with Anagram and Many Mental Mistakes, Blonde Redheadis at Club Soda with Fields, The Arctic Monkeys and Be Your Own Pet drop in on L'Olympia and The Arcade Fire play to a sold-out Arena Maurice Richard. Oh, also, Moneen play Foufounes with Ten Second Epic and The New Sincerity.

It's less crazy on Sunday. Go see Laura Veirs and Lake at Sala.

On Monday, the Cinematics and The Changes visit Main Hall, while Tuesday
finds Coco Rosie, Busdriver and TEZ at La Tulipe and Tapes n' Tapes and Ladyhawk at Le National. Rock!
