The Midnight Poutine Podcast - Oct. 24-28 2007

Posted by Jer / October 24, 2007

Holy Snap. Break out the champagne and the expensive chips. The Midnight Poutine Podcast is 50 today. It seems like just last year that we were a wee little playlist. Now, 50 inane episodes later, well, we're still here.

Even though our best attempts to reach former poutcast host extraordinaire, John MacFarlane, turned out to be fruitless, we hope you'll still enjoy this golden anniversary.

The Figurines - Hey Girl
The Thermals - A Stare Like Yours
Hot Little Rocket - Spill It

But looks like you need some help getting up to 50 comments... So here's one to get your started:

Congrats on turning 50! I just listened to MP podcast for the first time and really enjoyed it - what a delicious music selection! I'll be tuning in again...

Yeah. Apparently it's not so amazing to make it to 50. I guess it will make the 100th anniversary doubly difficult.

Thanks for the congrats. And thanks for tuning in.

For some reason, I feel like I should throw chips at you! ;-)

Thanks for the shoutout. Makes for a nice little podcast interactivity thing going on.
The reason I wanted to throw chips at you, Jer, is because you keep talking "at" us. But I guess it just makes me laugh, which is silly.
Anyhoo... The show's as awesome as it should be allowed to be. More awesomeness would make the poutine's curd cheese go bad. Nobody wants that to happen, especially not at midnight.
