The Midnight Poutine Podcast - Mar. 26-31 2008

Posted by Jer / March 26, 2008

The snow is melting and the Habs are winning, so Montreal is in a happy place right now. Maybe that's why so many great bands are here this weekend, rockin', rollin', poppin', twangin', and crunkin'. Fueled on nothing but left over Easter chocolates, I try and sort through some of the great acts that are in town for your listening enjoyment.

Thanks for the head's up about the old post-rock at cagibi, definitely an ill-suited venue for the music, but enjoyable nonetheless. Holoscene did an especially good job.

Yeah. The more I listened to their tunes, the more I realized Le Cagibi was in for a bit of a shocker. I'm glad they turned out to be good live...thanks for letting me know.
