The Midnight Poutine Podcast - Mar. 5-10 2008

Posted by Jer / March 5, 2008

Ok. I don't normally say this. But with 25cm of ice rain coming down, and another storm projected for Saturday, it may be best if you stay inside for the rest of the week. The only problem is that once you listen to this podcast, you'll realize you have to go out to actually see some of these bands. In the podcast biz, that's what we call a catch-22.

You got me...there is no podcast biz. And I'm not even sure that's a real catch-22 as Joseph Heller intended. But check out this week's tasty show and decide for yourselves whether to stay in or go out.

Here's your Midnight Poutine Podcast:

Creature - Pop Culture
Yoav - Beautiful Lie
Josh Ritter - To the Dogs or Whoever
Emm Gryner - All Time Low
Amanda Mabro - How Long
Corb Lund - Horse Soldier, Horse Soldier
Dengue Fever - Sni Bong
Slow Six - These Rivers Between Us
Electroluminescent - Farad
Ok Giraffe - Let Them Go
The Fugitives - Greyhound

Just discovered the podcast a few weeks ago and I wanted to wait til you were back to send big thanks and good vibes your way. I'm so pleased to find a source of new music and local show listings all rolled up in one. This is much-needed and super appreciated. I'll definitely make a weekly ritual of checking in.

River Oaks / November 29, 2007I enjoyed your podcsat. I'm a huge fan of GPS systems and am now on my third version of the system. However, I wish there was an easier way for the GPS systems to be updated. As local venues, restaurants and shops change so frequently coming to rely on the GPS to find the nearest restaurant doesn't work very well.Reply
