The Midnight Poutine Podcast - Apr. 2-8 2008

Posted by Jer / April 2, 2008

Hello my April fools. Montreal is awash in music this week. It's also awash in melting snow and dog excrement that has been frozen since early november and is only now emerging to wreak havoc on our shoes and noses. Hopefully that doesn't stop you from making it out to some of these fantastic shows, but if it does, I understand.

Way to close out the podcast in style. That track by Radio Radio is definitely HOT. More hip-hop next week!

I forgot to ask. Is it possible to embed the weekly playlist in the information section on the subscribed podcast? I listen to it in Itunes when offline and like to follow along but can't because I need to keep the webpage open to keep track of the bands.

Phil...slowly? What can I do to speed up your descent into full on habit?

Alain...glad you liked the hip hop. I'll keep my ears out for more. As for the fancy tagging, I'll see what I can do. If you couldn't tell already, I run a pretty low-budget operation. But I should be able to figure out how to get band and track names in the comments in iTunes.

Gotta agree with the above, I'm loving what you're doing with the podcast, Jer.

Cliché Hot for sure.

Jeremy - Thanks so much for the shout-out on the podcast. I'm so glad you made it to the Monthly Mess and got a kick out of late-night pancakes. And please do play The Unsettlers some day - they are always gigging around town and they're just so darn lovable.

No no no...thank you alanah for the whiskey cider! I emailed the unsettlers and scoured their one page homepage, but I couldn't any tracks. If you know any of them, tell them to send an mp3 this way.
