The Midnight Poutine Podcast - Aug. 20-25, 2008

Posted by Jer / August 20, 2008

Yikes. It's like a ghost town on this site. Apparently our writers are all suffering from olympic-addiction or celine-mania (yes, she's still in town, and still has a few shows to put on for her adoring fans). In any case, here's some sound to fill the silence.

For anyone listening...I incorrectly called Dog Day a duo, when they are actually a quatro (otherwise known as a foursome, quartet, or 4). Many thanks to Matt at the record label for keeping me on my game, and my apologies to the other two band members...I'm sure you rock as hard as the two that I mentioned.

Jer, I am listening! From the USA, Texas, Austin, etc.

Nice pickup on Jana Hunter -- she hails from Houston, though someday she may pull a Win Butler, and go through total drawl withdrawal.

I'm probably not coming to Pop Montreal this year, for previously blogged reasons, though I wish the festival, and your city, and your blog . . . the very best.
