It's back to school week, so the Midnight Poutine podcast puts its thinking cap on and tries to pontificate and educate on what's happening musically here in Montreal. Big shots like Oasis and Ryan Adams are in town, so are punk legends Lagwagon and MXPX. There's also a huge M for Montreal free show happening down in the Vieux Port. We've even got FREE TICKETS to giveaway for an upcoming Miracle Fortress show (courtesy of Indie Montreal). In other words, we're giving you plenty of reasons to avoid your first week of coursework.

The Miracle Fortress album is called Five Roses, and I should go because I cannot find tickets anywhere and I love them so.

The latest Miracle Fortress album is called Five Roses (I didn't need to look at the above poster for this!). I want to go because free things are always better than things that cost money (and are sold out).

Five Roses is the album! And I should go because my heart is a fortress and only Graham van Pelt, that miracle of a man, has the key.

(Thanks for the podcast, MP.)
