The Midnight Poutine Podcast- Nov. 5-10, 2008

Posted by Jer / November 5, 2008

It's a historic podcast this week. Ok, not really. It's just a regular podcast but on a historic day. Still, we talk about not one but two local album launch parties and preview a whack of other great shows. We also congratulate the new president, who unfortunately couldn't swing by for an interview.

Here's your post-election edition of the podcast. And for our friends in the U.S., like Hayden suggests, the healing process is never easy, but it's gotta start somewhere (though I'm sure you won't miss how bad this has felt). Enjoy the Midnight Poutine Podcast:

Hayden - Damn this Feeling
Feist - Past in Present
Matt and Kim - Good Ol Fashion Nightmare
Best Fwends - Skate or Live
Amanda Mabro - Don't it Feel Good
Ladyhawk - S.T.H.D.
Lioness - You're my Heart
The Darling DeMaes - The Ghost on Gwangali Beach
Ariane Moffatt - Jeudi le 17 Mai
Oldfolks Home - I Hate Dell
Mustard Plug - Freshman
Shortpants Romance - Trenches and Stars
Deerhunter - Little Kids

Hi Jer,

I have been having a hard time downloading/streaming the podcast since yesterday. It's usually plenty fast. New server?

From what I could hear (the beginning), sounds like another great podcast.

Obama won and it's 18 deg. C. here in Montreal! This is one great week!

Thanks for the music Jer.

Weird. Works for me...streaming and downloading.

I know we got hit by a whack of crazy spam last night, so that might have slowed things down.

Try again. If it's still a problem, I'll let you know another location where you can access the file.

Back to working order. Great!

Thanks Jeremy for this awesome podcast - I've discovered this really good band: The Darling DeMaes! Freaking badass song you played there :)

J'ai bien aimé ce podcast! I share your feelings about Obama.

I also appreciate your "ouverture francophone", as usual. Ariane Moffat's latest album is great! Hayden's song was a good one too.
