The Midnight Poutine Podcast- Sep. 16-22, 2009

20090916knaan.jpgFlash mobs and indie music awards. That's the 6-word summary of this week's hour-long podcast. I check in with Emma Valentiner about a "spontaneous" sonic event that's being "organized" in town on Sunday, and play selections from a bunch of Polaris Prize nominees. This is in anticipation of the big gala on Monday in Toronto, where one of the ten nominees will be awarded $20,000 and the understated fame that can only come from being a Canadian indie darling.
