The Midnight Poutine Podcast - Feb. 11-17, 2010

Posted by Jer / February 11, 2010

20100211honkytonk.jpg It's an ode to Valentine's day on this week's Midnight Poutine podcast. We cover all sorts of special showcases happening over the next few days, for the lonely or the lovers. And while we'd like to send each of you a special card that says "Bee Mine" (and there's a picture of a bee on it), you'll have to settle for this audio love letter (i.e. more ridiculous banter).

Oops. I said piano off the top. I meant strings. With technology these days though, you never know. Chalk it up to being smitten with the song.

In case anyone other than me cares, here's what Jordi had to say:

"I am playing a Casio there where it is a piano keyboard that is on pizzicato"

Mystery solved.

You're right Jer, I did sound a little punchy this week. Coooombination of mentally preparing for my Hume conference paper and hating Valentine's day. On the bright side, the conference paper went well. Downside: Valentine's day still exists. Ima write a letter to Hallmark about that one.

Valentine's Day might still exist, but at least y'all played the "cute" card by getting Lucas on air.

Good show as always, guys.

Yes, something like that would be ideal. Unfortunately, there are litinamiots with our platform (Worpress) which prevent that from being easy to implement. Even if we could incorporate a short summary into posts without other trade-offs, we would still have to go back through our 1000+ posts 1 by 1 to include them. It's something we will keep looking into though.
