The Midnight Poutine Podcast - Jun. 13 - 20, 2012

Posted by Jer / June 13, 2012

Les Soeurs BoulayIt's another busy week here in Montreal. From the Folk Fest on the Canal to Fringe Pop to the month-long celebration that is Suoni (including the eclectically cool Wyrd MTL showcase) to a visit from seminal acts like Mogwai and Radiohead, Amie and I find it basically impossible to keep this podcast under an hour and a half. As we've learned from the past few weeks in the city, when it rains, it pours. Get out and enjoy the musical flood...

Shouting back at you from Scotland! Sadly I'm not in Glasgow, where all the good music is, but I'm close enough that I can tea it on the wind if I listen really hard. I also wanted to correct an error: you referred to North America as a band, when in fact the entire continent of North America will actually be playing at La Tour Prisme tonight.

She is living with her mother in a room that has no bathroom and costs 300 yuan ($48) a month to rent. Merit certificates she received from school are displayed on the wall. Yan Lingling, Xi's mother, said she is proud of her daughter.
