The Midnight Poutine Podcast - Jun. 6 - 12, 2012

Posted by Jer / June 6, 2012

AmylieThe festivals just keep on rolling into town. We're just winding down from Mutek and already we've got to gear up for Les Francofolies de Montréal, Suoni Per Il Popolo, and a whole bunch of spring activities put on by Pop Montreal. Throw in a few massive student protests and it's bound to be an exciting weekend downtown.

So actually Midnight Poutine is not recorded at Midnight? big disappointment.
Hope not to be disappointed that much when I'll come to Montréal in a month.
Any advice for 1st week of July?

Thanks and hope to see/hear you there

Ha. Yeah, sorry to burst any bubbles, but we record the show at the lame hour of 2pm usually. But, we try and only have our poutine at midnight, if that means anything. As for stuff to do, I think Jazz fest and Just for Laughs are both on. Zoofest starts on the 5th, depending on how long you are here, and Picnik Electronik happens every Sunday. We'll also have a podcast going up on June 27th that will preview some of the other shows happening that weekend, so keep an ear or two out for that.

Waow... can't believe I've been answered by Jeremy in person! Great honour!
Many thanks for the advices! Now I need asking Amy about the food recommendations…
I won’t miss the June 27th podcast (this was already planned actually), and will have my both ears on.
Keep going! Love the show.
