The Midnight Poutine Podcast - June 20-26

Posted by Greg / June 20, 2013

20130620-1699.jpgWe hadn't even finished eating our poutine-stuffed waffles when it was time to stop celebrating our 300th podcast and record #301. Oh, cruel world! No, actually, the world was incredibly kind to us last week, with its wonderful comments from listeners and profile pieces and BBQ sponsors. We were so happy seeing such an outpouring of support on our 300th birthday and couldn't wait to keep moving forward.

The Montreal music world is coming out to play this week, with a whole host of artists performing at Fringe Pop and others collaborating on the groundbreaking digital opera, Party Like It's 1699. There's also a Robert Johnson tribute at BBAM! Gallery and a brief revivial of Pouzza Fest. Hear about everything below and get ready for a crazy first week of Summer.

Thank you midnight poutine for the great music podcast after podcast.
I've been a huge fan for years.
I live in Brussels - and I'm the guy who pushed Engaufrez-vous to make great waffles for your 300th podcast ;-). (They are friends of mine - i lived in Montreal for a few years)
I'm glad you guys liked them! Thanks to Gaelle ;-).

Is that au Tony that overdosed on herion or our Tony? Cuz our Tony claimed he was sick and we can't imagine that he'd lie to us.au Tony is totally right, see the movie before reading the book.au William: I've heard a few people complain that the first Harry Potter movie was confusing and that they might have enjoyed it more if they'd read the book.au Tony: You are NOT getting enough out of the Hunger Games movie as you could out of the book. The movie was a barely touches on a lot of the deeper emotional scenes from the book and you do yourself a disservice by not reading it.au William: Why manipulate people into doing anything? Because many people are inherently lazy and irresponsible, making it easy to get more money out of them.Distop .zzzzzzzz. Uh, wha? Sorry, I was tried and dozed off.
